​How do I confirm the private address features?

Metro ERP, managing and confirming private addresses typically involves configuring user permissions and ensuring that addresses are marked appropriately within the contact records. Here are the general steps you can follow to set up and confirm private addresses:

Step-by-Step Guide

1) Go to Contact by clicking on its icon in the main dashboard or using the application menu.



2) ​Create or Edit a Contact: To create a new contact, click the "Create" button. To edit an existing contact, select the contact from the list and click on it to open the contact form.



3) Add Private Address:

  • In the contact form, there will be a section for addresses.
  • Click the "Add" button under the addresses section to add a new address.


  • Fill in the address details. You can mark this address as private by using a custom tag or internal note to indicate its privacy, as Metro ERP does not have a built-in "private" flag for addresses.


4) Click the "Save and Close" button. It is created successfully

5) Now, Click and View the Added Private Address Conatct. Now, It should be verify the Address type under the Sales and Purchase tab. 

6) Security and Privacy:

  • Ensure that your user permissions are correctly set up to restrict access to private information. You can manage user access rights and record rules in the settings to control who can see private addresses.

Navigate to the "Settings" module from the main dashboard.
