​How can I access the Cash Flow Statement Report?

To access the cash flow statement report in Metro ERP's Accounting App, follow these steps:

1) Once logged in, go to the Accounting Module:

  • From the dashboard, click on the Accounting module. If you do not see the Accounting module on your dashboard, you may need to enable it through the Apps menu or contact your administrator.


2) Navigate to Reporting:

  • In the Accounting module, look for the menu bar at the top of the page.
  • Click on Reporting to reveal a drop-down menu with various financial reports.

From the drop-down menu, select Cash Flow Statement.  This is where you can access your Cash Flow Statement Reports.

This will open the Cash Flow Statement Report, where you can view the cash flow for your organization over a specified period.

3) Configure Report Parameters:

  • You may have options to select the time period, accounting method (cash or accrual), and other relevant parameters.
  • Adjust these settings as needed to get the desired view of your cash flow.
  •  You can filter the report according to your requirements, such as 'Today,' 'End of Last Month,' 'End of Last Quarter,' 'End of Last Financial Year,'  by utilizing the filter option provided in the accounting module. Alternatively, you can apply a custom filter to access your report's data.


4)  You can Group By the report according to your requirements, such as 'Cash Basis Taxes', 'Customer Invoices,' 'Inventory Valuation', 'Miscellaneous Operations,' 'Paypal', 'Point of sale', 'Vendor Bills,' by utilizing the Group By option provided in the accounting module.


Configure Report Parameters:

  • You may have options to select the time period, accounting method (cash or accrual), and other relevant parameters.
  • Adjust these settings as needed to get the desired view of your cash flow.

Generate and View the Report:

  • Once you have configured the parameters, generate the report.
  • The Cash Flow Statement Report will be displayed, showing the inflows and outflows of cash for the selected period.

5) You can print your report's data in PDF and Excel formats by clicking on the Print and Export buttons.
